Very simply, an addict is a man or woman whose life is controlled by drugs. We are people in the grip of a continuing and progressive illness whose ends are always the same: Jails, institutions, and death.”

DIRECTIONS TO MEETINGS

Veteran’s Memorial Hall:
NYS Thruway to Exit 12, Palisades Mall Exit to Rout 303 NORTH. Go left on 303 into Congers. Left on Lake Road (Rick’s Club American on Corner). The VMH is on the right before Firehouse and after St. Paul’s Church.

Nyack Senior Center:
NYS Thruway to Exit 11, Nyack; Left onto Route 59 East. Down into Nyack and Right turn on S. Franklin Ave. Left at first light onto Depew Ave. Bldg. on the left. Street Parking.

St. Paul’s School:
NYS Thruway to Exit 12, Palisades Mall Exit to Rout 303 NORTH. Follow 303 into Valley Cottage and go left on Lake Road. Turn Right onto Kings Hwy. Travel over RRX – keep going about a mile down to Sign for St. Paul’s School. Back bldg in parking lot.

First Reformed Church:
NYS Thruway to Exit 11, Nyack; Left onto Route 59 East. Down into Nyack and Right turn on S. Broadway. Church is on next corner – make a right on Burd St. and entrance on left side of bldg. through glass doors.

Grace Episcopal Church:
NYS Thruway to Exit 11, Nyack; Left onto Route 59 East. Down into Nyack and left turn on Franklin Ave.. Church is 2 blocks down on right corner. First Ave. and Franklin.

Open Arms Halfway House:
Rte. 9W N or S to light at Westside Ave. Haverstraw. Turn East & then make 2nd right after RRX onto Sharp St. #57 is on left at corner of Leonard St.

United Methodist Church:
Route 304 N or S to Congers Road. Go East and Church os on the left about .25 mile. Left into driveway to back of building where lot and entrance are located.

Berea 7th Day Adventist Church:
NYS Thruway to Exit 11, Nyack; Left onto Route 59 East. Down into Nyack and Right turn on S. Broadway.

Nyack Hospital 160 North Midland Avenue 

 NYS Thruway to Exit 11, then turn left onto Route 59. Stay on Route 59 (Route 59 becomes Main Street).  At the 2nd. traffic light turn left onto North Midland Ave. Continue on North Midland Avenue and the  Hospital  is on the left side of the street, 3 blocks from  Main  Street. Use the security entrance to the left  of the main entrance.
